The Allurion Swallowable Gastric Balloon is a new generation gastric balloon that is applied without the need for endoscopy and anesthesia and leaves the body naturally after 16 weeks. Since the uninflated balloon is hidden inside a capsule, it is known as capsule gastric balloon, gastric balloon pill, gastric balloon like pill. Allurion Swallowable Gastric Balloon provides satiety, satiety and loss of appetite with its space-occupying effect in the stomach, like other gastric balloons. Those with a BMI between 35 and 40 and those with problems such as type 2 diabetes, hypertension, and sleep apnea due to obesity are considered morbidly obese in terms of bariatric surgery.
